GLOBAL MARCH LAUNCHES THE CHILD LABOUR RESOURCE CENTRE
New Delhi -- Recognising that dialogue, discourse and learning
are the indispensable tool to reach out to people and create
awareness, the Global March Against Child Labour is pleased to
announce the launch of the Child Labour Resource Centre at its
International Secretariat based in New Delhi, India.
The Child Labour Resource Centre is a specialised documentation
and reference centre on child labour and children's rights. The
main aim is to collect and disseminate information on child labour
and other child rights issues worldwide.
We have a specialised collection of literature in the field of
child labour, child development and welfare, child rights, children
of war, street children, sexual abuse of children, child trafficking,
child prostitution, child labour legislation, human rights, labour,
legislation, slavery and organisations working on child welfare.
Our collection includes articles, studies and reports, journals,
organisational newsletters, newspaper clippings, official documents,
books and documentaries
One of the unique features of the Resource Centre is its 'Virtual
Library' through which you can access hundreds of documents on
the subject online. The catalogue of resources will also be
made available on our website for your reference soon.
You are most welcome to pay a visit and use the resources.
We hope to make our resource centre a meeting ground for the
interaction of people fighting for a similar cause.
